Advocacy @ HBT: Standing with Iranians against the brutal regime

Tomorrow, Thursday, January 22nd, TAFSIK has organized a solidarity march to stand with the protestors against the Iranian regime. They write. 

“Join Us and Canadian Members of Parliament this Thursday… at Adath Israel Congregation, 37 Southbourne Ave, Toronto, ON, M3H1A4. You will need to register to get confirmation that you will be allowed entry.”

As many of you know, there is often a vocal Persian presence at many pro-Israel events across the GTA. Persian Canadians and Iranians who have made their home in Canada after fleeing the oppression of the Islamic Republic, are some of our most sincere allies. The sight of Israeli flags next to Persian flags across events these last few weeks has been common. Standing with our Persian friends and allies, as thousands of people are murdered and a brutal crackdown takes place across Iran, is a powerful message of solidarity.
