Continuing a Holy Blossom Tradition
Holy Blossom Temple has a long history of helping those who want to settle in Canada. Inspired by our previous commitment to newcomers from all over the world, a new group has been formed at HBT to address the resettlement of Israelis. About 1000 Israelis have arrived in Toronto during the past year, and it is estimated that this number may triple over the next 6-8 months.
Our partner in all these efforts continues to be the Jewish Immigrant Aid Society (JIAS).
The Israeli Resettlement Project continues to work with JIAS to help Israeli newcomers find employment. This week, we are highlighting four different individuals who need our help. They have careers in Finance and Real Estate, HR (IT Recruiting), Business with an MBA, and Quality Assurance/Regulations (medical devices). All are professionals who need help networking and getting some employment leads.

Finance/Real Estate
Real estate valuation and financial analysis professional with over 10 years of experience delivering complex property appraisals and strategic advisory services. Led an independent real estate appraisal firm, valuing assets exceeding CAD 2B and mentoring a team of appraisers. Previously served as Treasurer for a non-profit organization, managing million-dollar budgets, and as Director of Camp Operations for a national youth movement. Skilled in financial modeling, project management, and stakeholder engagement. Seeking opportunities in real estate strategy, portfolio management, or financial consulting roles.
HR (IT recruiter)
Technical Recruiter with 3+ years of experience leading end-to-end recruiting processes for engineering and IT positions in the tech industry. Proven track record in full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing to closing. Skilled in building strong candidate relationships and leveraging innovative sourcing strategies. Previously held an administrative role at the Prime Minister’s Office.

Marketing, Advertising, Brand Strategy, Business Development, and Innovation Expert with over 15 years of experience in global B2C and B2B markets across Europe and the USA with an MBA specializing in Marketing. Proven expertise in driving business development, formulating impactful marketing strategies, deploying campaigns, and building strong brands. Skilled in managing all aspects of marketing with a balanced blend of business acumen and customer relationship management. Extensive global experience spanning roles at Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising; marketing management positions at NESTLE, UNILEVER, and KIMBERLY-CLARK; and leadership in the innovative FOODTECH and alternative protein, plant-based industry.

Quality Assurance Specialist with 5 years of experience in medical device post-market surveillance, risk management, and CAPA processes. Expertise in global regulatory compliance, including EU MDR, 21 CFR 820, NMPA, PMDA, and Health Canada requirements. Previously led complaint handling and post-market surveillance initiatives at GE Healthcare and Philips, improving product safety, driving process improvements, and ensuring audit readiness. Seeking opportunities in quality assurance, regulatory affairs, or medical device compliance roles.
