Join Rabbi McCarroll as together, we will explore some of the mysteries surrounding the Jewish calendar, inspired by the new book: “Ba’Zman (From Time to Time): Journeys in the Jewish Calendar” by Rabbi Dalia Marx, PhD.
After Rabbi Marx teaches the first class on June 26 (information here), please join Rabbi McCarroll for these two follow-up sessions.
We’ll look at some examples and key ideas around the Jewish calendar to ultimately explore the question: What makes the Jewish calendar, Jewish?
Is it texts? Is it symbols? Is it ideas? Is it the link to Israel? Together, we’ll learn and discuss!
