The House of Commons Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights has released its official report on the heightened antisemitism in Canada. Committee recommendations include strong support for the IHRA definition of antisemitism, holding universities and organizations to their stated codes of conduct, and more. There will be more takeaways from this report in the coming weeks, but you can start your involvement by reading the report here!
The Alliance of Canadians Combatting Antisemitism (ALCCA) has recently launched a new initiative, calling on leading Canadians to stand against antisemitism. You can read more here, and learn about how more than 100 honoured, decorated and respected leaders in our country are taking a zero-tolerance approach towards antisemitism.
