This was a really busy Sunday! We are learning about Joshua, who was the first of the historical prophets, and is the only prophet from the Nevi’im section of the Bible who we meet in the Torah. Joshua is appointed by God to be Moses’ successor.
In Hebrew we started reading the next section of the Amidah – Kedusha. We also learned the root word, kadosh, means Holy. We are focusing on accurate and fluent reading. We are learning how to add prefixes and suffixes to roots that we know. We are starting to understand the language!
Please make sure your student practices reading at home.
PS: For some stretching and fun we learned how to say left and right in Hebrew and we marched like soldiers..
