Our class joined the JKs and the SKs today and Ariella read us a book about a zookeeper who got sick and all the animals came to visit him at his home. This mitzvah is called, Bikur Cholim, visiting the sick. Then we all made get well soon cards. We also went to see the Ner Tamid that is always lit in the Youth Chapel. Our new Hebrew word is Ner Tamid for the Hebrew letter Nun.
Next week, we will be making “get well boxes” that the children can fill with small treats to give to a sick friend or family member. We also have Shinshinim and will be begin to discuss Purim.
