Rosh Chodesh: Celebrating Women of Valour

The “About Rosh Chodesh” blurb has run its course, and the month of Av will feature the final issue. I am excited to support the new initiative introduced by Cantorial Soloist Lindi Rivers, which celebrates, recognizes, and honours the past and present women of valour at Holy Blossom Temple.

As Rosh Chodesh is considered a special women’s holiday, Women of Holy Blossom will honour its inspiring, trailblazing, and amazing women. Each month, during Rosh Chodesh services, we will celebrate one woman from our Temple whose dedication and good work have helped shape our community.

Please watch for these tributes in the “Life @ Holy Blossom” email blasts starting in September. Let’s come together to celebrate each month. Celebrations need guests and we invite you all to join our Shacharit services on Rosh Chodesh dates. Please click here for upcoming dates.
