As Toronto’s first synagogue, Holy Blossom Temple has been at the forefront of Canadian Jewish life since 1856. Over 170 years, our congregation has weathered every storm and has provided leadership to shape the content and character of the Toronto Jewish community. As a flagship congregation of the Reform Movement, our shem tov (good name) is known far and wide. Our recent and rapid growth is evidence that the Holy Blossom community is meeting the moment and providing a joyful spiritual home for individuals and families at every life stage. There is much to celebrate.
So cue the lights! Cue the music! Our 170th anniversary celebration awaits! On the evening of Monday, May 11, we will honour this magnificent milestone with “North of Broadway.”
From the moment you arrive, you will feel the excitement. Walk the red carpet. Greet old friends and new. Share in the joy of community. Delight in the talent of Broadway’s best Jewish composers and today’s brightest performers. Following the concert, enjoy a delicious dessert reception and a rare opportunity to meet the North of Broadway stars.
Because we believe that Jewish education is the key to the Jewish future, the evening will be dedicated to Excellence in Education. Exciting announcements will be revealed, and your very presence will advance our shared commitment to lifelong learning.
