Monday November 13, 2017 – Grade 6
From Rebekah:
This week in Grade 6 we looked a little deeper into the building of the first temple, which sparked a discussion about prayer space; what makes a ‘good’ prayer space? The students did some research, visited our own youth chapel for reference, and set out to design an optimal prayer space for themselves. Next week we will continue to delve into this point in early Jewish history!

From Cantor W:
This week, Cantor C’s grade 6 class continued our discussion about the Temple in Jerusalem. We discussed the purpose of the Temple, and how the Israelites had to fight assimilation when they arrived in Canaan. We also continued designing our own ideal prayers spaces.
