At Lecha Adonai, middle of page 123, you will be handed the Torah to be carried upright against your right shoulder. You lead the Torah procession. When you return to the Bima, (lower Bima in Sanctuary), be seated with the Torah. The ornaments will be removed. Stay seated while the Torah is read.

At the conclusion of the Torah reading, rise to receive the Torah. Be seated for the dressing and the reading of the Haftarah. During the Shofar Service, rise with each sounding of the Shofar and be seated as the Shofar blower finishes each section. After the final sounding of the Shofar  with Tekiah Gedolah, page 150, you will be signalled to rise with the Torah and face the congregation during the readings on pages 152, 153. The Torah will be taken from you and returned to the Ark, page 154.

When the Ark has been closed, page 155, return to your seat in the congregation.

On your return to the Bima,  remove the ornaments from the Torah and be seated on the Bima (upper Bima in the Sanctuary.)  After the Torah has been read, dress the Torah and return to your seat in the congregation.
