Drawing inspiration from traditional substances referenced in the Torah\, as well as in Jewish history and cultural practices\, it incorporates a selection of natural materials that have long been associated with care\, ritual\, and everyday well-being. \nParticipants will create simple and effective skin care products to take home\, using every day\, edible\, and natural ingredients. The focus is not on complicated formulations\, but on understanding how to work with materials that are accessible\, familiar\, and gentle on the body. These products include body powder\, anointing balm (oil-based balm)\, body oil\, bath salts\, and a bath scrub. \nThis workshop is designed to reconnect skin care with simplicity\, awareness\, and intention — moving away from over-complication and toward a more holistic relationship with the body. \nNo prior experience is needed. All materials and tools will be provided. \nRegister here \nPresenter’s Bio: \n\nAngela has an academic and practical background and family tradition in Chinese medicine\, as well as a long-standing interest in preventive health and everyday well-being.\nHer work explores how daily habits – including food\, movement\, and simple natural materials – can support the body in practical and sustainable ways.
