DESCRIPTION:Dorot Presents: A Visit to the Torah Stitch by Stitch Exhibit\nWednesday\, October 14\, 11:00 am \nJoin your Dorot friends for a special visit and tour of the new “Torah Stitch by Stitch” exhibit\, learn more about this inspiring project\, and stay for a coffee at Holy Grounds afterward! \nABOUT TORAH STITCH BY STITCH:\nThe Torah Stitch by Stitch Project is returning to Holy Blossom Temple as part of a worldwide travelling exhibit. This exhibit includes stunning full-size digital prints on canvas\, representing the work of over 100 of our 1500 stitchers\, including many Holy Blossom Temple members. It also includes a series of exquisite illuminations from elsewhere in the Tapestry\, a map representing our global reach\, and a list of local stitchers who took part in the project. The documentary short\, “Stitchers – a Tapestry of Spirit”\, fills in more of our inspiring story. \nThe event is free\, but registration is required. \nRegistration coming soon! \nEach person who wishes can purchase their own coffee/snack at Holy Grounds after the talk. \nThis exhibit is generously sponsored by Lili and Michael Shain.\nDorot programming is generously sponsored by a gift from the Estate of Saundra and Henry Sherman.
