DESCRIPTION:Rosh Chodesh Av\nWednesday\, July 15\, 7:30 am \n  \nRosh Chodesh\, meaning head of the month\, is a holiday celebrating the arrival of a new moon. It is often celebrated by women as a day off from work. All genders are welcome to join Women of Holy Blossom and pray in solidarity with Israel’s Women of the Wall. Join Women of Holy Blossom in sacred worship for Shacharit services followed by a light breakfast. \nThe Women of Valour Series is generously sponsored by Robert Lantos in memory of his mother Agnes Lantos z”l \nFor those planning on joining us in sacred worship online\, please click “Register Here” (below) to receive our new service links. DESCRIPTION:Shir Lach Shar: A Poem Sings to You\nA Lunch & Learn with Cantorial Intern\, Will Brockman \nTwo weeks\, July 8 & 15\, 12:00 pm \nIn Hebrew\, the word shir can mean both “poem” and “song.” Join Cantorial Intern Will Brockman for a two-part class exploring the rich meeting place of Israeli poetry and music. \nTogether\, we will listen closely to Hebrew poems that have been set to music\, asking what happens when a poem begins to sing — and how music can deepen\, transform\, and reveal the meaning of the words. Along the way\, Will will share live musical offerings and invite us into the emotional world of Hebrew poetry and song. \nParticipants are welcome to attend one session or both.
