Join us for Yom Tov either online or in-person for this powerful service and Yizkor. This is one of the three Yizkor Services held during the Jewish calendar year. We will remember all those who have died in years past\, as well as those who have died since Yom Kippur\, as we pray together in the sanctuary\, and will dedicate new Yahrtzeit tablets. DESCRIPTION:Chaggim Holy-Day Fun for Families!\nTuesday\, October 7 & Tuesday\, October 14\, During Torah Service (11:15 am-12:15 pm approx.) \nBring the whole family to our Yom Tov services for Sukkot and Shemini Atzeret starting at 10:00 am\, and have your children experience our fun and engaging breakout activities! \nOur youngest Blossoms (0-3 years old) will enjoy festival-inspired creative programming\, music and stories. Little Blossoms (0-5 years old) must bring their grown-up.\nOur older children (0-11) will have the opportunity to participate with our friends from L’Dance camp\, registration required. \nChildren and families who participate in breakout rooms will rejoin the service in the Main Sanctuary for the conclusion and kiddush lunch afterwards. \nWe are excited to see our young friends of all ages mark the Yom Tov together with our congregation. \nRegister here

DESCRIPTION:Consecration 5786/2025!\nTuesday\, October 14\, 5:15 pm \n  \nThis special life-cycle event marks the beginning of formal Jewish Education for all our Grade 1 students (whether they are part of YEC or otherwise). Students will receive their very own mini-Torah to treasure and receive meaningful blessings from their families and clergy. They are also welcome to participate in our Simchat Torah celebrations\, including flag-making\, music\, dancing\, and general Jewish joy as we begin reading the sacred texts of our People once more. Consecrands and their families are extended the honour of the first hakafah (procession/dance) with the Torah during our Simchat Torah celebrations. \nFamilies are additionally encouraged to join us for the Consecration pre-program on Sunday\, September 28\, at 10:15 am\, to learn more about the Torah and what it means to become Consecrated\, as well as create a special Aron HaKodesh box for their new mini Torah scrolls. \nRegister here! \nTo cover materials\, the cost is $36.
