Secrets and Sources of Holy Blossom’s Stained-Glass Windows (Part 2)
with Holy Blossom’s Archives Committee
Join Holy Blossom’s Archives Committee members for a follow-up session on the synagogue’s
historic stained-glass windows. Last Shavuot, our presentation focused on the window’s narratives and the people who inspired them. This time, the committee will take you on a tour of the upper windows and their extraordinary images, drenched in colour and detail. Incorporating Jewish ritual and history, they create a rich and colourful portrait of the Jewish people and maybe unique in North American synagogue life. Let the artistry of the windows inspire you in this High Holiday period.

Members of Holy Blossom’s Archives Committee collect, preserve, and illuminate the
synagogue’s history from its founding in 1856. Holy Blossom member Jane Herman, who has
written the definitive book on Holy Blossom’s windows, will join us.
