Please join us for a Women’s Seder hosted by Sisterhood and the Women’s Advocacy Group
March 21, at 2:00 pm
In creating a unique Haggadah for this special occasion, we have kept all the basic elements of a traditional Seder. However, we have given each element a new and different perspective – one that reflects where women are today, in the midst of the pandemic, and one that hopes to inspire with a call to action.
At the Women’s Seder, we honour the women of the Passover story whose names are omitted from most Seders – Yocheved (Moses’ mother), Miriam (Moses’ sister), and Shifra and Puah (the Egyptian midwives). We believe that a Women’s Seder is an important “addition to” the traditional celebration of Passover.
We look forward to sharing the Women’s Seder with you. This is a time to be virtually connected with others … a time to step back from the routines we have created in our new normal … to look inwards and outwards … backwards and forwards.
