Women of Holy Blossom’s 2nd Annual Sisterhood & Study Retreat: Women of Valour

This year’s Women of Holy Blossom sisterhood & study retreat will explore the theme Women of Valour.

Our primary text, Eishet Chayil (Proverbs 31), has been treasured throughout the millennia for its description of the ideal woman. Some feminists have rejected it. Biblical scholars and poets, in each generation, have retranslated and recast it in light of new and emerging identities.

Together, with Rabbi Yael Splansky as our teacher and guide, we will consider the weight of these verses and how they shape our own understanding of Jewish womanhood.
