Remembering Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel on the occasion of his 50th Yahrtzeit

When you register for this online event, you will receive the link to privately screen the recently released, 57-minute documentary by Martin Doblmeier, “Spiritual Audacity: The Abraham Joshua Heschel Story.” Whether or not you are able to view the film in advance of our gathering, you will enjoy the pre-recorded panel discussion recently convened by the Toronto Jewish Film Festival. Rabbi Splansky and Rabbi Frydman-Kohl join the documentarian for a probing and personal conversation moderated by Dr. Greg Beiles, Head of the Toronto Heschel School.
A brief study of some of Heschel’s most influential writings will frame the beginning and the end of the program.
