Monday, October 5, 6:30 pm
Join us on October 5th from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm at Holy Blossom Temple.
Tour the ESEK NOVA Collection Gallery in the Garson-Baskin Gallery: Come and see 10 curated works created by NOVA Survivors. Prints will be available for sale in large format or small format, and a catalogue will accompany the collection for guests to read and take home.
Watch “Still Dancing.” This short documentary, produced by ESEK, profiles four of the artists in the NOVA Collection as they heal and share their experiences from October 7th. You can watch a trailer for the film here. Screening begins at 7:00 pm.
Chat with Shye Klein. Shye Klein, a Canadian Israeli photographer and Nova Survivor, serves as one of the interviewers in “Still Dancing.” Holy Blossom will host Shye for a Q&A session after the film. Ask your questions and engage with ESEK. Talk-Back begins at 8:00 pm.
Shop the ESEK Shuk. Wander through the pop-up mini marketplace to purchase products and art pieces from the ESEK NOVA Collection. A few favourite items from ESEK’s year-round collection will also be available for sale.
A $10 cost helps us come together to remember, reflect, and honour the stories of October 7
