National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Commemoration and Learning

As we approach the High Holidays and the 4th annual National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we take time to consider essential questions about relationships and responsibilities.

What are the most important lessons that we, as Canadian Jews, should learn on this day?
To what extent does, or should, our history shape the way we understand our responsibilities to the goals of Truth and Reconciliation?
To what extent might Jewish texts provide valuable insight about the process of healing relationships with First Nation, Inuit, and Métis peoples, and with the Earth itself?
