Core Course, Year Two: Crossroads of Jewish History and The Ethics of Jewish Living

In Year Two of the two-year program, we will study, “Crossroads of Jewish History” which merges the concepts of history and memory in order to better understand how each has shaped Judaism today. The second course is, “The Ethics of Jewish Living” which brings in Jewish teachings to shed light on contemporary issues. This class will explore the ancient and modern rabbis and scholars’ approaches to conducting our lives in the communal and private spheres.
