Eating Disorders: What are they? What are the signs, symptoms and stigmas? And how do we get help?”

With Guest Speaker Dr. Allan Kaplan

October 24, 7:30 pm (Zoom)

Eating disorders affect people of all genders, ages, classes, abilities, races and ethnic backgrounds.

What they ARE: Complex, serious, multi-factorial illnesses that can be caused by environmental triggers like feelings of isolation, loss of friends or family members, sexual identity confusion, parental divorce and many, many more. Biological influences also play a role.

What they ARE NOT: Personal choices.

And recovery is possible with the right information, support and treatment.

We are so fortunate to have Dr. Allan Kaplan as our guest speaker for this live, online webinar.
