Kabbalat Shabbat: Songs of Love and Repair with Congregation Bet Haverim, Atlanta
Friday, November 7, 7:30 pm
Following our very own Kabbalat Shabbat Service at 6:00 pm, you can join the CBH chorus (and livestream) for a powerful, co-created musical Kabbalat Shabbat-inspired experience at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta. Cantor David Rosen and the Holy Blossom Temple Singers will join Congregation Bet Chaverim and Kol Zimrah from Chicago for a memorable Kabbalat Shabbat Service.
As our nearly 100 voices rise together, we’ll explore themes of resilience, survival, and hope in the shadow of Kristallnacht—echoes that still speak to our world today. This moving collaboration will remind us of music’s power to heal, unite, and inspire peace.
This special evening is made possible through the Vita Leo Arts Fund. Admission is by love donation (suggested $36), with proceeds helping to replenish the fund so it can continue to bring transformative arts experiences to our community.
