This year from March 22nd through April 20th, Muslims across the world celebrate their holy month through fasting, prayer, and community building. Observance of Ramadan is one of the 5 Pillars of Islam and a pivotal practice for religious Muslims. Each night, as the sun sets, the month is celebrated with a festive Iftar dinner- where family, guests, and neighbours are joyously brought together to enjoy good food and company.
Locations of the dinner may vary throughout the city.
With great thanks to Steven and Gillian Bookman, as well as the Holy Blossom Temple Interfaith Committee for organizing and leading this exciting program!
