Dorot Presents: The Summer Garden with Beth Lawrence
Tuesday, June 16, 11:00 am
As summer approaches, join HBT member and professional gardener Beth Lawrence in learning about plants that grow well in the season, hints and tips for growing your own gardens, and maybe even plant something small you can take home for your balconies/kitchens/backyards!
Beth will especially talk about the evolution of herbs as they migrated north and had to change and adapt to the cold.
Join us for this informative and creative session by registering HERE.
There is a virtual option at no cost, in order to listen to the speaker, but in-person means you can participate in the planting activity!
Cost is $30/member to provide lunch and supplies, and $33/non-member.
Lunch catered by Holy Grounds to follow.
The Dorot program is generously sponsored by a gift from the Estate of Saundra and Henry Sherman
A MESSAGE FROM BETH LAWRENCE

Beth Lawrence is the owner of Common Ground Landscape Design and has been designing, building and maintaining gardens in and around the GTA and cottage country since 2006.
Building a garden takes into consideration many things. 2 of the most important are the type of soil you have and how many trees are on your property providing shade. After those two questions are answered, we can then move onto esthetics.
I love what I do, and if I didn’t have bills, I would literally this for free.
I look forward to seeing you on June 16th.
