Dorot Presents: A Conversation with Artist Charlie Pachter

With immense excitement, come and join your fellow Dorot friends for this very special talk by renowned Canadian-Jewish artist Charlie Pachter. We will learn and laugh together as we enjoy the morning with this masterful storyteller, full of humour and warmth.
With his current exhibit on display in our Lower Level Gallery, we will gather there to enjoy this amazing opportunity and enjoy a catered lunch from Holy Grounds Cafe afterwards.
The event is $15/members, $18 for non-members.
One of Canada’s leading contemporary artists, Charles Pachter is a painter, printmaker, sculptor, designer, historian, lecturer and author. An Officer of the Order of Canada, a recipient of the Order of Ontario and the Queen’s Golden and Diamond Jubilee medals, he has been recognized with honorary doctorates from Brock University, OCADU, the University of Toronto and Lakehead University. He is represented in the public and private collections around the world. His 1985 mural of HOCKEY KNIGHTS IN CANADA continues to enhance Toronto’s College subway station.
It just so happens that he attended Holy Blossom Religious School, from 1948 to 1958!
