Celebrating Middle Eastern Jewry 5787/2026: Commemorating Yom HaPlitim

Monday, November 30, 7:00 pm

Join us at Holy Blossom Temple as we commemorate Yom HaPlitim, dedicated to remembering the exile of Jews from Arab countries and Iran, and celebrating the rich, vibrant culture of Jewish communities in the Middle East. Featuring live music on the beautiful oud by Aaron Lightstone and Matan Boker, and Daniel Koren, Founder and Executive Director of Allied Voices for Israel (AVI), as well as a delicious Iraqi-inspired dinner and dessert.

Together, we’ll explore the rich history of Jews who were exiled from the lands which they called home. Don’t miss the chance to learn about Mizrachi traditions and experience this evening that you will not want to miss!
