Anti-Racism Reading and Discussion Group
Tuesdays at 7:30 pm
This month we are reading “So you want to talk about race” by Ijeoma Oluo.
The author writes, “I wanted to create something of use. Something that would give readers the fundamentals of how race worked, not only in a way that they would take into their graduate race theory classes but in a way that they would take to their office or their Thanksgiving tables. I wanted people to understand race better, and how to talk about race more effectively, and with more kindness.”
Everyone is welcome to join this reading group. Please read what you can and join even if you haven’t had a chance to finish the book.
The Anti-Racism Reading Group is an HBTogether Group, which is a way for members to come together within the larger Holy Blossom congregational family. HBTogether Groups are one of the best ways to add even more meaning to your Temple life, and to stay connected during this time.
