We will learn about the Mitzvah of Tz’ar ba’alei chayim: kindness to animals, from a member of Ontario’s SPCA (Society for the Protection and Care of Animals).
Looking for something to do during the April Break? Spend a morning with your HBT friends and discover the mitzvah of Tz’ar ba’alei chayim: kindness to animals. We will learn about what Ontario’s SPCA (Society for the Protection and Care of Animals) and the Humane Society do to help care for and protect animals. We will learn how to make a special enrichment toy for an animal, and hear some stories about animals who have been cared for by the SPCA and Humane Society. We might even get to meet some four-legged friends!
* parents and caregivers are welcome to participate in this program with their kids!
