A staged reading of “One of Us or The Abramovich Affair”

You are invited to a special staged reading of a play by Holy Blossom member and acclaimed playwright Michael Ryval, performed by an all–Holy Blossom cast and directed by cantorial intern Will Brockman.
Set in Toronto, the play follows Boris Abramovich, a Russian immigrant and successful currency trader whose compulsive gambling habit spirals into fraud, betrayal, and the collapse of the empire he built. At its heart, the story wrestles with greed, loyalty, guilt, forgiveness, and the complicated relationships between perpetrator and victim.
This promises to be a powerful evening of theatre, conversation, and community featuring the incredible talents of our very own Holy Blossom members.
