Early Childhood Centre (ECC)
In the David Feldman Jewish Education Centre
At Holy Blossom Temple’s Early Childhood Centre (ECC), we see each child as full of potential. Our nurturing environment fosters self-esteem and supports growth in all areas while providing your child with a solid Jewish foundation. Our play-based curriculum, following the Ministry of Education guidelines, balances child-initiated and adult-supported experiences. Our classrooms include diverse learning centres for purposeful play, literacy, math, science, and outdoor activities, integrating Reform Jewish traditions.
We are excited to offer a FULL-DAY program starting in September 2024 (8:00 am – 5:30 pm, 2:00 pm pickup Fridays) for toddlers and preschoolers. The ECC will continue our morning program for toddlers, and “school day” program for preschoolers. The ECC is proud to be part of the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Childcare Agreement (CWELCC), providing government funding for all families. Your child will enjoy a rich learning experience grounded in Reform Jewish values in a warm, nurturing school.

After School @ Holy B
Introducing After School @ Holy B! For children from JK to Grade 3, this program blends play-based learning with Jewish values and traditions. Running from 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays*, families can choose their preferred days with discounted value for either multiple students or days.
*Additional days may be added based on interest
This camp-like educational program includes art, music, movement, and exploration of Jewish holidays and traditions, fostering joy and connection to Jewish life. Located near Cedarvale Community School, we offer a convenient walking-pickup service for Cedarvale students.

Youth Education Centre (YEC)
In the David Feldman Jewish Education Centre
The Youth Education Centre (YEC) creates a warm, exciting community for Jewish learning from JK to Grade 10 Confirmation. Students gain:
- Jewish literacy, skills, and knowledge
- Values of lifelong Jewish learning and mitzvot
- Connection to Judaism and Israel
- Appreciation of Jewish history and culture
- A sense of belonging to the Jewish community
Our creative, hands-on learning experiences foster community and belonging. Our integrated curriculum and dynamic teachers enable students to read Hebrew, participate in worship, study Torah, and celebrate Jewish holidays. We encourage students to continue Jewish education beyond B’nei Mitzvah to Grade 10 Confirmation.
YEC Classes take place:
Sunday mornings: JK-Grade 5
- Monday evenings (B’nei Mitzvah & Beyond!): Grade 6 – Grade 12
- NEW 1-on1 mid-week Hebrew reading practice online for all YEC students in grades 4-6
- Program open to non-members for JK-Grade 3 and post B’nei mitzvah (Grade 8+)
