It was fun coming to school in our PJs today! In honour of PJ Day, we learned Modeh Ani, a prayer said in the mornings thanking God for giving us another day. We sang it on Hebrew and English and talked about it’s meaning. We played a game called “Yom V’Lyla” – day and night.
We also talked a lot about mitzvot. We read the story “Sara Finds a Mitzvah” by Rebeka Simhaee that had a lovely story about the mitzvah of returning lost objects.
I hope everyone has a wonderful break and a Happy New Year! May 2019 be blessed with tons of health, laughter, and peace.
See you when we come back on January 13!
