Sisterhood 2015-2016

Holy Blossom Sisterhood is a place of friendship, where women can study, worship and socialize in a warm, supportive atmosphere. Founded almost 95 years ago, we count over 600 women of our congregation as members today.

We continue to provide a high calibre of programming (see “The Sisterhood News Archive” below) both educational and entertaining. In addition, we:

  • Support our Religious School;
  • Provide a significant gift to each of our confirmation and adult b’nei mitzvah students;
  • Provide funding for the Sisterhood Library;
  • Provide camp scholarships for students to attend Camp George;
  • Provide scholarships for our young people entering Rabbinic or Cantorial schools;
  • Continue to sponsor Mondays @the Temple, Wednesday morning Torah Study, our Annual  Weekend Retreat,  and many interesting and informative programs throughout the year.
  • Provide the congregation with an opportunity to purchase Judaica through the Judaica Shop.

Sisterhood offers many opportunities for involvement through participation on one of our standing committees:

We have already begun our exciting program planning for next year.  Sisterhood Welcomes You! Won’t you join us soon! For more information call the Sisterhood hotline at (416) 789-3291, ext.514 or click here to send an email to Sisterhood
