Bereavement Support

Weekly on Tuesday nights, 6:30pm

The Bereavement Discussion Group meets weekly with a professional group facilitator to assist bereaved individuals who have suffered a death in the recent past. Participants discuss their reactions to their loss and learn how to best cope and navigate their grief and mourning with others who are experiencing a similar lifecycle event. Also open to the community-at-large.

Shloshim Follow Up Calls. Calls are made to any members who are about to conclude the period of Shloshim to inquire as to their welfare and to identify any unmet needs that the temple may provide or facilitate. This effort is coordinated through the Bikkur Cholim committee but falls under Bereavement.
