We are excited to offer a dynamic Jewish after-school program for JK through Grade 3 children. This program provides a camp-like atmosphere where children engage with Jewish values and traditions in a fun and meaningful way. Through art, music, movement, and various modalities, children will explore Jewish holidays and learn about Jewish traditions. This program is designed to be interactive and experiential, fostering a sense of joy, pride, and connection to Jewish life.
HBT’s After School will run from 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm Tuesdays and Wednesdays*
*Additional days may be added based on interest
Families can choose their preferred days with discounted value for either multiple students or days.
Programming & Offerings
- Cultural Immersion: Immerse children in Jewish culture through engaging activities and experiences.
- Values Education: weave Jewish values such as kindness, compassion, and social responsibility into activities.
- Holiday Celebrations: Celebrate Jewish holidays and traditions, fostering a sense of connection and belonging.
- Community Building: Build a strong sense of community among participants, families, and staff, and connection to the Holy Blossom space and community.
- Personal Growth: Support children’s development in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
- Walking School Bus: A friendly team member will meet students to walk together to Holy Blossom from Cedarvale Community School, with the possibility of expansion based on interest.
Staffing and Support
Our program will be led by passionate animators who specialize in Jewish education and child development. These animators will be supported by specialists from Holy Blossom Temple’s professional team, ensuring a diverse range of expertise and resources. Our team is dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for every child, fostering their growth and connection to Jewish culture and values.
Tuition
Non-Member/Member tuition rates are available with discounted value for either multiple students or days.
Member Tuition (Sept to June)
- One day/week (1 student): $1,180
- More than 1 day/week: $1,100 per each day selected per student
(Discount applies to either 2 days for 1 student or 1 day for multiple students in a household)
