Holy Blossom and URJ Camp George Alumni & Young Families Shabbat
Friday, February 2, 6:00 pm
Holy Blossom and URJ Camp George are partnering to celebrate Kabbalat Shabbat together, camp style! This special service, includes dinner, camp-inspired activities and of course, a ‘super-spesh song sesh’, which is geared towards younger families who are camp alumni, current campers, and families who are interested in learning more about what makes the Camp George community so special! Alumni families will have the opportunity to reconnect with their fellow campers and introduce the future generation of campers to each other and to camp ruach. Prospective families can get a ‘taste’ of what camp is all about, and meet camp’s leadership and some current staff members.
Lauren Viner, an HBT member and URJ Camp George alumni shares:
“I am really looking forward to reconnecting with other camp alum at the first young families Shabbat dinner! There are so many alumni out there that had kids over the last few years and I look forward to meeting them! As an alumni whose kids aren’t quite old enough to go to camp, but have also aged out a bit from pub nights and internships, it will be great to see other alumni who are at this stage in their lives as well. It gives a chance to catch up, and find even more ways to connect to our camp community! I look forward to seeing you all there!”
This event is open to HBT members and member friends!
$36 per family of 4 (additional $7 for an extra child)
