First Day Rosh Hashanah: First Family Service
Philip Smith Congregational Hall, Sunday, Monday, September 26, 9:00 am
Families with newborns to teenagers (and sometimes beyond) come together for a multigenerational service with fast-paced music, Torah reading, shofar, and storytelling. During these services, parents model engagement in the music and the text, following along and helping their children pray so loud that they will want to sing over us!
There will be Parent/Child Take-A-Break rooms available as necessary for when children and their parents need a few moments, with some quiet activities and where snacks can be eaten.
