For 2000 years, the Jewish People stood apart from national political involvement. With the Enlightenment, Jews began to participate in the politics of their countries, as individuals. After 1948, the Jewish People returned to history as a nation-state. Questions about political ethics, war and peace, national survival and the politics of our diaspora countries are, now, vital for us. We will discuss Judaism and the political as an important reality.
