In First, renewal, stories

Our people have always been aware of the importance of generational memory. We say every morning, in the Amidah prayer, L’dor v’dor, from generation to generation. Our Renewal Project reflects the forward-facing vision of our Congregation. We thought together about the needs of future generations of our community and we have addressed them beautifully.

The generosity of our members can also reflect the memory and history of our Congregation and its families. A gift to Renewal can be made in the name of family, whether with a long history at Temple, or with a treasured place in the donor’s heart. Take a look at the donor appreciation sign in the Schwartz/Reisman Atrium and see how many gifts have already been made in memory of a loved one.  Look at the Max Enkin Library: it is a gift to honour a past honorary life president.

Each member of our congregation can make a donation to Renewal to ensure family memories form a permanent part of our Renewal Project. Please contact our Director of Development to discuss how you can honour family memories with a gift to Renewal.
