*** the trip has been postponed to June 2021 ***

Dear Friends and Congregants,

It is our privilege to announce the third musical mission with the Cantor’s Assembly, the Jewish Musical Journey through ITALY: Rome, Florence & Venice (June 22 – July 2, 2020). The success of each mission draws more attention and grows in numbers.

Our trips to Poland, Germany, Spain, were extremely successful, rich in content, history and most importantly in music. Each mission focused on the particularism of the culture where Jews dwelt for centuries. This particular mission has a very important message for the world of Jewish music: Italy’s Jewish musical tradition is unique in its distinct sounds.

We will explore the different historical backgrounds of each Italian community with Prof. Stephen Berk who led us in all the previous missions. There will be large amounts of reading material, preparing you to fully understand the depth of our trip and mission.

This is the last trip and mission I will lead as the Senior Cantor of our Beloved Temple Holy Blossom. Of course, as Cantor Emerita I will have more opportunities to lead and share with you more exciting sights.

Please let us know by responding personally to Me or to my wife Hope Maissner: [email protected]

We will announce soon a date for the information meeting

With warm blessings and “CORRAGIO,”

Hope and Cantor Beny Maissner
