Dear Friends and Congregants,
I hope you are all enjoying a relaxing post-High Holy Day season and looking forward to interesting programming at Temple. As I have done for so many years, (in fact, for 39 blessed years), I would like to announce the Musical Heritage Concert Series for the coming season 2018-2019.
This year is a very emotional time for me personally. This year’s season is drawing faster and nearer to my retirement. The committee and I have managed to present a very unique musical program. Our concerts this season are in sync and harmony with our mission statement, namely to promote the best of Jewish music.
Over many years, I have tried to engage a wide variety of Jewish sounds. This year we will highlight “The World of the Modern Cantor” – The multivocal image of today’s Hazzan. I hope you will share in these magnificent programs when the best Cantorial stars honour us with their multifaceted talents. It will enrich your cultural and spiritual lives. Please see the attached brochure featuring:
From Tehran to New York City – Saturday, November 17, 2018, with Hazzan Farid Dardashti
