In Grade 1

Dear Parents:

This week, in honour of Tu b’Shevat we learned about the environment and how we can help it. Saving water, gardening, and recycling were some of the topics we learned about. The students made really nice trees using their hands as the tree and hearts as the leaves. They all did such a great job! Our Hebrew word this week was Yeladim (children) the letter was Yud. We counted the students who were in class today, ask your child how many we had.

Next week we have the pleasure of the Shinshinim joining us. We will continue with the Aleah Bet and learn the next letter Kaf for Kelev (dog). We will also add mitzvot to our mitzvah tree which is located right outside our classroom. If you could please bring Tzedakah that would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Daniella Lebow
