Dear JK Parents,

We had a beautiful Shabbat day in our classroom! We had a Shabbat meal together, complete with blessings over the candles, grape juice, and bread, and singing.  We also learned some Torah stories like we would in a Shabbat service. We talked about Abraham and Sarah welcoming their guests and we acted out the story of Adam, Eve, and the snake.

Next week we will be talking about Mitzvot and doing some Mitzvot around the school in order to get ready for our family Mitzvah day on November 27th. As a reminder, the program starts at 10:30, however, I strongly encourage you to join your children for services at 10:00 as well.

Shavua Tov, have a good week!
