In Grade 1

This week, grade 1 collaborated with JK and SK to learn about the mitzvah of Bikur Cholim, visiting someone who is sick. The students heard a story about Bikir Cholim, and talked about how they would feel if they visited someone, or if they received a visit from someone. The students then made get-well cards, and are in the process of creating “Bikur Cholim boxes” to cheer up someone who is not feeling well.

The students learned about the Hebrew letter Lamed, and they participated in a fun Jewish trivia game!
