In religiousschool, stories

nobodyBen Mansoor is a student in the JK class at Leo Baeck Day School, and additionally attends our Youth Education Centre JK class. Ben brought his class project “Nobody” for a visit.

Nobody arrives to the Leo Baeck class barren, even bereft of body parts!  Each week a family in the class adds either a body part or piece of clothing and that item reflects a good deed done in conjunction with the addition.

As a part of the project, Nobody does something related to Tikkun Olam – making the world a better place.  The Mansoors gave Nobody a Jewish identity because they wanted Nobody to know how fortunate it is to have a Jewish identity and Jewish education. In order to assist in others receiving a Jewish education, they donated their full tzedakah box to Holy Blossom.

Ben donated $113.86 to help other children in our program. Thanks so much Ben!
