The Brotherhood at Holy Blossom Temple welcomes Rabbi Teri Appleby and her husband Jonathan Leo as their guest speakers on December 2nd, 2012.
Rabbi Appleby joined the clergy team at Holy Blossom this past November. She was ordained by Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in 2007. Prior to rabbinical school Rabbi Appleby practiced criminal and juvenile law as a Los Angeles County Public Defender for six years. Rabbi and Jon met in their first year at the University of Southern California Law School in Los Angeles.
Jonathan Leo is an environmental consultant and an environmental attorney licensed in California state and federal courts. He has also taught environmental law and managed Pacific Environment, an international environmental non-profit.
