Two Jewish teachers and specialists, David Gershon and Suzanne Hersh, host childrens programming in the midst of the Temple’s Shemini Atzeret Morning Service.

The service begins at 10:00am. At approximately 11:00am, at the beginning of the Torah service, our youngest children ages 0 through 6 are invited with their parents and/or grandparents to join David Gershon for a holiday snack, an age-appropriate story time, lots of music, and other special experiential learning.

After hearing the Torah read for a few moments, those children 7 through 12 are invited on their own to join Suzanne Hersh for a holiday snack, age-appropriate drama games and activities which draw upon the themes of the holidays, and other community-building fun.

At the conclusion of the service, those in the childrens programs will join with the entire congregation for a holiday kiddush luncheon.

No RSVP necessary. Chag Sameach!
