Support for Holy Blossom Temple Members
Living With and Caring for those with Dementia

A participating partner of the Reitman Centre CARERS Program
of Mount Sinai Hospital

Do you have a loved one – a spouse, parent, sibling or friend – living with Alzheimer’s or similar dementia – for whom you provide care?

As a care-giver, you can find emotional support and learn practical skills by attending a new program- ‘Our Loved Ones, Ourselves’ – being offered here at the Temple.

This new program is being offered, in partnership with Mount Sinai Hospital’s Reitman Centre, to family member caregivers and their loved ones.
During this 10 week program, offered once per week for 2.5 hours, you will learn skills, in a small group setting, that will help you cope with the stresses and the challenges you are facing.

A concurrent group will provide your loved one with support, activity and stimulation in the caring, loving environment of their spiritual Jewish home.

The first program will run every Thursday starting May 3, 2012, for 10 weeks – 1pm – 3:30pm at Holy Blossom Temple. Register soon. Space is limited
