Judaism has always had a lot to say about what to eat, what not to eat, and how to make the acts of preparing, eating, and sharing food sacred.
Using sacred Jewish text and excerpts from Jonathan Safran Foer’s book, “Eating Animals,” we’ll consider our foodways in light of environmental, social, health-conscious, religious, and ethical values.
