Friday Evening – Kabbalat Shabbat
Fridays at 6 p.m. in the Youth Chapel on the third floor
Our Synagogue welcomes Shabbat with a warm, communal worship experience. This simple, engaging service is filled with congregational participation and community spirit. An informal service, Kabbalat Shabbat has become an important part of the week for many of our congregants. Join us this Shabbat, and see if it’s right for you.
Join us on the first Friday of every month during the school year at 6:00 p.m. for a joyful congregational service, followed by a community dinner. The services and dinners begin on September 4th, 2015.
All are welcome. RSVP to our community semi-potluck kosher chicken dinner, $12 adults/$7 kids plus a dairy-free, nut-free side-dish. (If you have RSVPed for one of these dates through the Youth Education Centre, the dinner is included in your $36 dollar contribution). Please contact Elana Fehler to RSVP ([email protected])
Two flutes. An accordion. Percussion. A few guitars. A banjo. One hot clarinet.
Our home-grown Shabbat Neginah Band brings a taste of Klezmer and a joyful sound to welcome in Shabbat.
Come add your voice and enjoy the warmth of Shabbat every second Shabbat of the month.
Our Tot Shabbat Services are held on the Third Friday of every month. The third Friday of the month is a Shabbat Service and vegetarian potluck dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m. RSVP for dinner to Elana Fehler ([email protected])
Join us for the special Shabbat Service on the first Friday of the month, for children aged five years and younger and their parents (grandparents and friends, too), as we welcome Shabbat with prayer, song, stories, then stay for dinner (RSVP required) and meet other families from our Temple community.
Our 20s and 30s community gathers on the fourth Friday of every month at 6 p.m. for services followed by a dinner. E-mail Rabbi Helfman to RSVP and for details on this month’s dinner. [email protected]
